A 9-year-old boy, died falling off the rooftop of a seven-storey building in Dhaka’s Khilkhet area while flying a kite.
The deceased was identified as Md. Salman Adib, a fourth grade student.
The incident occurred around 3 p.m., said the victim’s father an employee of the Special Branch (SB) of Bangladesh Police.
“He went to the rooftop alone today and fell off while playing,” he said.
He was rushed to the Hospital where the duty doctors announced him dead.
The body was sent for an autopsy, said Bacchu Mia, in charge of DMCH police outpost.
