A man from Savar's Ashulia area was arrested for kidnapping and killing a 6-year-old girl by The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Sunday night.
The arrestee, Abdul Kader, 20, is the next door neighbor of the family.
The arrestee confessed about the crime and told the details of the murder.
Ashulia police station Inspector (Operations) Jamal Sikder said, “The child's body was recovered from a nearby drain on Sunday, four days after she was reported missing”.
A case has been filed by Sinthia's father against Kader, and four unnamed individuals.
