A moderate earthquake with 5.5 magnitude reportedly jolted Dhaka, Chattogram and some other parts of the country on Friday morning.
Residents from different cities around the country reported feeling an earthquake around 4:30am.
The epicenter of the quake was detected in Myanmar, the according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The moderate quake was measured magnitude 5.5 in the Richter scale, the USGS website shows.
No casualty was reported till writing the news at 10am.
