The main opposition Jatiya Party`s Secretary General Mujibul Haque Chunnu said that the ruling Awami League wanted to meet JP leaders on Wednesday to talk about a number of topics related to the national election scheduled for January 7.
"An Awami League leader called me Tuesday and said they want to sit with us to discuss the election issues," Chunnu told the journalists.
But he didn`t reveal that AL leader`s identity. Chunnu stated that they would discuss among themselves over the AL`s proposal and that they would notify the Awami League of their choice.
