A youth succumbed to his burn injuries which he received in a gas cylinder explosion at a CNG gas filling station in Gazipur.
Atiqul Islam Mithu, 25, died around 8:00am on Friday at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in the capital.
Medical Officer Dr Shuvo Debnath confirmed the death.
Four other victims--Anwarul Islam, 27, Al Amin, 25, Sirajul Islam Tutul, 25, and Parvez, 33,-- are undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
They are also in critical condition, said doctors.
