A man was hacked to death outside a voting station in Munshiganj-3 seat.
The victim, 45-year-old Zillur Rahman, was a fellow of Awami League candidate Mrinal Kanti Das.
Around 9:30 a.m., the incident occurred near the Tengar Shahi mosque crossroads in Mirkadim.
According to witnesses, Zillur got into a fight with supporters of independent candidate Mohammad Faisal Biplob, which led to the fatal attack.
