Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested Brahmanbaria District BNP convening committee member Hafizur Rahman Mollah alias Kochi Mollah early today in connection with two sabotage cases.
Hafizur, a former district BNP president, was picked up around 12:30 am from the Baganbari area of Brahmanbaria town.
Later, he was arrested in two cases and handed over to the Brahmanbaria Sadar Model Police Station, according to Aslam Hossain, the station`s officer-in-charge (OC).
According to OC Aslam, he was charged in the two cases after October 28.
Previously, 13 cases were filed against Hafizur in various police stations in Brahmanbaria.
