Mursal Nabizada, a former Afghan female MP, has been shot dead in Kabul.
Miscreants shot Mursal Nabizada and her guard at her home. Her brother was also injured in the incident.
Mursal Nabizada was among the few female parliamentarians who stayed in the capital after the Taliban seized power in August 2021.
Local police chief Molvi Hamidullah Khalid said Ms Nabizada and her guard were shot dead at about 3am on Saturday (local time) in the same room.
“The security forces have started a serious investigation regarding the case to find the criminals,” police said in a statement.
