Shakib Al Hasan attended the 21st convocation of American International University Bangladesh on Sunday (March, 19). His name appears in the list of graduates as 'Khondaker Sakib Al Hassan'. Cricketer Shakib Al Hasan completed Bachelor's of Business Administration (BBA) degree from American International University (AIUB) in 2009-10 session.
The all-rounder expressed his immeasurable happiness regarding his graduation. He said," I may have excelled in the field of cricket but, being a graduate is something I have always dreamt of. In around 2009 when I have completed my 3 years of cricket career my mother used to ask me about my studies. I can not express how much I am happy today".

Shakib expressed his gratitude towards his respected faculty and his university. He also wished good luck to all of them who graduated with him.
In the convocation ceremony, the President and the Chancellor of the university Md. Abdul Hamid presided over with the kind consent of Education Minister Dr. Deepu Moni. He distributed certificates among the graduates.
