Prashant Kumar Halder (PK Halder) will be produced before the City Sessions Court in Kolkata on Tuesday by the country's investigating agency, the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
The ED will request the court to keep PK Halder further in the custody for interrogation along with informing the court about the progress of the case after taking PK into custody from last Saturday.
It is predicted that the ED may brief the court about the progress of the investigation, as Prothom Alo reports.
Over the last three days, the ED has interrogated PK Halder and five of his associates who have been arrested. They are believed to have received specific information about PK Halder's further assets. However, the ED has not yet officially announced anything in this regard.
In addition, the ED is also looking into several other properties of PK Halder and his associates in India. But now it is quite clear that the investigation will go a little further on his land properties and later will be handed over to Bangladesh.
