Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh has sought capital punishment for the driver of the DSCC truck who rammed into a Notre Dame College (NDC) student infront of Gulistan on Wednesday.
Accepting the 10-point demand by the students, Mayor Taposh addressed the protesting crowds who staged demonstrations for fair trial of Notre Dame College student's death by a DSCC truck.
The clamour of infuriated students grew louder on the second consecutive day of protests for the death of the NDC student Nayeem Hasan.
While addressing the protesting students, Mayor Taposh said: I not only agree to all the points you have raised, I seek death penalty for that murderer (bus-driver).
