Demonstrators have vandalised student buses in the capital's Shahbag intersection over their demand for half-pass, also called student pass.
The incident took place on Saturday (November 20) at aound 12 in the afternoon. During this time, the students blocked vehicle movement on the road.
Demonstrators vandalised more than 10 vehicles on both sides of the road.
Besides, demonstrators have blockaded roads in different areas of the capital through processions and human chains, that has led severe traffic congestion.
Protests are taking place in front of Bangla College, City College and Dhaka College for half pass.
Mohammadpur bus owners claim that so far about 200 buses have been vandalised by the demonstrators.
