Third-time in a row, Bangladesh Awami League has placed the election manifesto as ruling party. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s party has once again prioritized the mandate of youth.

The ruling side has promised to generate new job opportunities for fifteen million young people, some 1.5 crore by 2030, if it comes to power again.

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina came up with this announcement while she was delivering her party‍‍`s election manifesto on Wednesday in a Dhaka hotel.

She also made a promise to create a smart Bangladesh.

This time, the theme is "Unnoyon drisshoman, barbe ebar kormoshongsthan," which roughly translates to "it‍‍`s time to increase employment because development is visible."

The youth will be involved in Bangladesh‍‍`s development if the Awami League is elected, said Sheikh Hasina.

“If youth meet the requirements, young people will have more opportunities for employment,” she declared.

About 3.1 million youth will receive training in the district and upazila level, promised the incumbent PM.

The 12th national parliamentary election will be held on January 7.

Up to 1 crore 53 lakh young voters will have the opportunity to cast their first ballots.
