Dhaka University (DU) is likely to restart in-person classes from October 16.
AKM Maksud Kamal, pro vice-chancellor (Academy) of DU, informed the matter to the media after a provost standing committee meeting on Tuesday.
He said, the provost standing committee of the university recommended to resume its in-person academic activities from October 16.
The committee also recommended that honours third, second and first year students will be given opportunity to get into the dorms from October 10.
The decision will finalize in Academic Council Meeting which will be held immediately, the pro-vc added.
The recommendations came from a provost standing committee meeting chaired by vice-chancellor Md Akhtaruzzaman at his residence in the university.
