Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has alleged that the BNP is doing politics of falsehood over the sufferings of flood affected people.
He said: "BNP's evil political behavior is very sorrowful and inhumane at a time when the people are fighting for survival in the wake of natural disaster."
The minister, also the general secretary of the Awami League, said this in a statement issued to mass media on Sunday.
Condemning purpose-oriented ill-motivated comments of BNP leaders, Quader said the people didn't witness any efforts or initiatives of BNP to mitigate sufferings during any disaster.
"BNP leaders only do politics of falsehood over people's distress and sufferings through their lip-service," he added.
He called upon all to stay beside flood victims during this disastrous period.
