A student of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) was stabbed to death on a hill inside the campus on Monday evening.
The deceased is--Bulbul Ahmed, a third year honour's student at the university's Public Administration department.
Officer-in-Charge of Jalalabad Police Station Nazmul Huda Khan confirmed the news.
He said: Details regarding the matter couldn’t be known immediately. Bulbul was taken to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital with critical injuries where doctors declared him brought dead."
"We are trying to find out why Bulbul went to the Gazi Kalur Hill on the campus and whether anyone was with him at the time," he added.
