Today is the 59th birthday of Shaheed Sheikh Russel, younger son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and younger brother of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Bangabandhu and his family members were brutally murdered on the evening of August 15, 1975, with Sheikh Russel being the youngest victim.
