A Russian national has been found dead in Green City, the residential area of the under-construction project, in Pabna's Ishwardi.
The deceased is Ivanov Anton, 33, who was working as an installer at a company named "Rosem", of Rooppur Nuclear Power Project.
Doctors suspect that he died of cardiac arrest.
Arvind Sarkar, officer-in-charge of Ishwardi Police Station, confirmed the news.
Police said Anton fell unconscious on Sunday night in front of the lift of a building designated for accommodating foreign staff working for Rooppur project at Newhat in Ishwardi upazila.
Being informed, project physicians reached the spot immediately and declared him dead.
Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Pabna General Hospital for autopsy on Monday morning.
After post-mortem, his body will be sent to his home country.
