PM visits British High Commission in Dhaka

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid the last tribute to Queen Elizabeth II by placing wreath in front of her portrait at the British High Commission in Dhaka. 

 

The visit made a history as for the first time any prime minister of the country visited the British High Commission in Dhaka.

 

On her arrival at the mission in Baridhara on Tuesday, she was received by British High Commissioner Robert Chatterton Dickson.

 

During the visit, the premier signed the condolence book that opened at the British High Commission following the death of Queen Elizabeth I. 

 

After placing the wreath, the prime minister  stood in silence for sometime to show respect to the late Queen.

 

Then the Bangladesh premier reminisced her pleasant memories with the Queen.

 

The British high commissioner expressed gratitude to the prime minister for visiting the mission to show respect to the Queen.
