The government is set to invite Dr Muhammad Yunus, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and World Bank president to the Padma Bridge opening ceremony on June 25.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said this at a press conference at Mawa end on Sunday.
He said: "The authorities would start the distribution of the invitation letter from Thursday."
Earlier, PM Sheikh Hasina said to take Khaleda Zia to Padma Bridge and shove her into the river.
She also said that Nobel laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus should be plunged twice into the Padma River.
