One soldier, and three militants killed in Bandarban gun fight

In a  gun fight in Bandarban's Ruma upazila, three militants, and one soldier of the Bangladesh army died. 

The incident took place on Wednesday night, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR).

The army troop was killed in a clash with armed activists of the Santu Larma faction of the Parbatya Chattogram Jana Sanghati Samiti (PCJSS).

The deceased soldier has been identified as Senior Warrant Officer Habibur Rahman. 

Following the attack, law enforcers recovered arms and ammunition from the scene. 

Following the gun fights, security has been tightened in the surrounding area.
