A workshop and Agent Banking Business Development Conference on the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing was held on Thursday at a local hotel in Chattogram by the Chittagong South and North Zones of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited.
According to a press release, JQM Habibullah, Additional Managing Director of the bank, addressed during the conference as chief guest.
As special guests, Mohammed Shabbir, deputy managing director and Miftah Uddin, senior executive vice president of the bank spoke at the conference.
The program was presided over by Md Barkat Ullah, the head of the Chittagong South Zone. The executive vice presidents AKM Mahbub Morshed and Mohammad Rezaul Karim, the head of the Chittagong North Zone Mohammad Nurul Hossain, and the senior assistant vice president AM Shahidul Amran also spoke at the program.
Branch managers and owners of the agent banking outlets within the zones, attended the Conference.
