As per the figures from the central bank, Bangladesh‍‍`s foreign exchange reserves dropped by $60 million in a week to reach $20.89 billion on October 25. Last week, it was $20.95 billion.

According to an International Monetary Fund document, the reserve has halved in just two years, from roughly $40.7 billion in August 2021 to $33.4 billion by the end of 2021–2022.
