Police in Narayanganj have recovered the body of an unidentified youth from the Buriganga river in the district's Fatullah upazila.
The deceased, believed to be under 40, was wearing a jeans, a white fatua and socks, said inspector Shahjahan Ali, in-charge of Pagla Navy police camp told an English daily.
The body was found near Pagla Ghat on Saturday afternoon, with police suspecting that the man was found dead at least 48 hours after his death.
Previously, the body of a 30-year-old unidentified youth was recovered from the same river behind the Jamuna oil depot on November 9. His identity could not be known yet.
