Three divisions likely to experience light rain

Meteorology department has forecast rain amid the cold wave sweeping over parts of the country including capital Dhaka.

Parts of Chattogram, Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions are likely to experience light shower, the weather forecast said.

The temperature is expected to rise which might end the cold wave, it furthered.

Meanwhile, the country witnessed more cold at the beginning of the winter season.

Different areas of the north and central regions of the country experienced light to moderate freezing wave on Monday while light cold wave swept over four districts including the capital on Tuesday.

Met office said, the mercury will go rise during the day and night on Wednesday. The icy wave might return again in January.
