A Rohingya man, who is also an accused in a murder case, has been held along with a Bangladeshi passport from Shah Amanat International Airport while fleeing the country for Saudi Arabia.
Members of the Detective Branch of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested Asad Ullah on Friday, said CMP DB (North) Deputy Commissioner Nahid Adnan Taian.
"With the Bangladeshi passport, the Rohingya man was trying to flee the country by a Jeddah bound flight but police on a tip-off arrested him around 6:45 pm from the airport," the police official informed.
