Isolation not more than 10 days: DGHS

One can return to job after 10-day isolation if there is no coronavirus symptom, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said this in a virtual health bulletin on Sunday.

 “We would suggest to stay in quarantine for 10 days to those who are tested positive for Covid-19. If the infected person has no fever or symptom s/he can join respective work place,” DGHS line director professor Md. Nazmul Islam said in the bulletin.

He said, any person can receive the booster dose six weeks after getting the infection.

The rate of fatality is 1.60 per cent while the infection rate is 14.31 per cent. A total of 15 lakh 63 thousand people have recovered so far with more than 88 per cent recovery rate.

More than 28 thousand people have died of the virus so far till Saturday, the bulletin read.
