Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud has expressed grave concern over the escalating violence in Ruma, Bandarban, implicating a separatist terrorist organization from a neighboring nation in arming the KNF and inciting attacks against law enforcement in Bangladesh.

Speaking from his residence in Chittagong, on Saturday morning, Dr. Mahmud emphasized the gravity of the situation without explicitly naming the country of the mentioned separatist terrorist organization involved.

"The support of a separatist terrorist organization from a neighboring country to the KNF with weapons has escalated attacks on law and order forces," Dr. Mahmud stated.

Assuring the public of the government‍‍`s unwavering commitment to addressing the issue, he disclosed that joint operations by law enforcement agencies have already been initiated. The government‍‍`s stance remains resolute in ensuring the eradication of terrorism from the hilly regions.

"The government is taking this matter with utmost seriousness," Dr. Mahmud affirmed. "Our law enforcement forces are already engaged in joint operations, and we are determined to rid the hilly areas of terrorism."

Furthermore, Dr. Mahmud asserted that the ongoing operations against the terrorists will persist until they are completely neutralized. This resolute stance underscores the government‍‍`s determination to restore peace and stability in the affected areas.
