Bangladesh records highest spike in contamination, 115 more die

The number of detected novel coronavirus cases in Bangladesh, according to the government, on Wednesday rose to 913,258 as 8,822 more cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

During that time 115 Covid-19 patients died, raising the total deaths in the country to 14,503, said a press release of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Wednesday.

With 8,822 people testing positive over the same period, the number of total infections rose to 913,258.
