Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said her party Awami League honored all freedom fighters, who fought for the liberation war in 1971, irrespective of party affiliation.
She came up with this remark while handing over the keys of 'Bir Nibas' under the project 'Construction of Housing for Indigent Heroic Freedom Fighters' under the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs.

The premier said that there was an attempt to erase the names of freedom fighters from history. Since Awami League came to power, the brave freedom fighters are being given real respect.
"Awami League considers all freedom fighters to be respected regardless of party affiliation and considers it their duty," she added.
PM participated the program by connecting virtually from Gana Bhavan.
