Twenty-five people died at the Corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) in the last 24 hours. Nine of those died of Coronavirus and the rest 16 died with symptoms.
A letter sent to media by RMCH on Tuesday (June 29) said, the 25 people died from 8am on Monday to 8am on Tuesday. Of them, fifteen were male and ten were female.
Of the deceased, 12 hail from Rajshahi, five from Chapainawabganj, five from Natore, two from Naogaon and one from Chuadanga, the letter read.
He also said, 70 people were admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours and fifty were discharged. 182 Covid patients and 277 with Corona symptoms are receiving treatment at the hospital.
Hospital sources said, as many as 378 people have died in the hospital with coronavirus complications in 35 days from May 24 to June 29.
