Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) today staged a protest rally demanding the resignation of Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Farid Uddin of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).
The rally took place at the foot of anti terrorism Raju Memorial Sculpture at around 10:30 am.
They also demanded for the revocation of the case that was filed against the agitating students of SUST.
In the rally more than 300 leaders and activists including the central president were present.
Fazlur Rahman Khokon, President of JCD, said that if the administration doesn’t meet their demand JCD will go for further movement.
After the rally, they held a protest procession towards Shahbagh from the Raju Sculpture.
