What the Round of 16 line-up is looking like

The knockout rounds of the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar are now just hours away, with the Round of 16 beginning on Saturday, December 3.

The top 2 teams in each of the 8 groups go through to the Round of 16 or the pre-quarterfinals.

So far, 14 teams have made the cut for the knockouts, which leaves 2 slots still left to be filled for the next round. The final positions of 12 teams from 6 groups have been decided, in terms of group toppers and runner-ups. Brazil and Portugal are still the two qualified teams so far whose final table positions are yet to be determined as we head into Friday's crucial matches.
