Tigresses defeat Pakistan and win the series 2-1

Bangladesh girls faced Pakistan in the third and final ODI of the three-match series at home. While the Tigresses won by dominance in pursuing the visitors‍‍` target. The red-green representatives won the series by 2-1.

Bangladesh and Pakistan girls compete at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Friday. The visitors achieved 166 runs in the contest after losing all five wickets in the allotted 50 overs. In response, the Bengal Tigresses won by 7 wickets and 26 balls with the help of Fargana Hoque Pinky‍‍`s fifty and Murshida Khatun‍‍`s fifty.

Bangladesh‍‍`s girls had a strong start in the run chase. The team‍‍`s innings were started by Fargana Hoque Pinky and Murshida Khatun. These two batters began to play carefully from the beginning. They both batted for 34 overs without losing a wicket.

Pinky-Mursida pair scored 125 runs. Both made fifty on their way to scoring this pair. Nashra Sandhu, on the other hand, nailed the pair in the 35th over of the match. Pinky (62) was caught off guard by Nashra‍‍`s ball.

On this day, Nashra Sandhu taken the maximum two wickets for Pakistan.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first. The team‍‍`s innings were started by Sadaf Shamas and Sidra Ameen. With their bat, the visitors got off to a terrific start. 

Even after settling down on the wicket, Sadaf returned to the pavilion. She hit 31 in the 20th over before getting caught behind off Nahida‍‍`s spin. Nobody else got a run with the bat after that.

Sidra Ameen fought alone against the Tigress bowlers to the end. As a result, the visitors scored 166 runs, depending on Sidra‍‍`s 84 runs.
Nahida Akhter took three wickets for the hosts on this day.
