Rajasthan Royals (RR) failed to get going as Delhi Capitals' (DC) restricted them to 121/6 in their run-chase of 155 runs to win by 33 runs.
Avesh Khan and Anrich Nortje bowled superbly at the start while Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel and Kagiso Rabada all chipped in with crucial wickets to help DC take the top spot in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 points table.
Earlier, DC lost track versus RR in the powerplay itself as RR pacers broke through the defences of the DC top order.
Skipper Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer and Shimron Hetmyer counter-attacked the RR bowlers to take the score past the 150-run mark and finish at 154/6 in 20 overs.
DC now have eight wins in their 10 games so far, while RR have won four and lost five matches this season.
