Prime Minister holds talks with the Indian foreign scecretary

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina met with Indian Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra on Thursday morning at the Ganabhaban.

The meeting took place as part of the upcoming "concluding India tour," where Indian Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday evening for a two-day visit.

Welcoming him at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Bangladesh Foreign Ministry‍‍`s Senior Secretary (South Asia) Md. Rokibur Rahman and Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma greeted him.

It‍‍`s reported that the Indian Foreign Secretary will also hold talks with Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr. Hassan Mahmud and Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen.

This marks Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina‍‍`s first visit to India since the general elections held in Bangladesh on January 7th.
