After being called to bat, the youthful Tigers set a lofty goal with Ashiqur hitting 129 off 149 and Chowdhury Mohammad Rizwan and Ariful Islam hitting half-centuries in the one-sided final.

With 378 runs in five innings, Ashiqur finished as the tournament‍‍`s top run scorer. This was his second century in the competition.

With statistics of 2-41, pacer Ayan Ahamed was the most effective bowler for the UAE.
