Bangladesh beat New Zealand XI in warm-up ahead of ODIs

Bangladesh defeats New Zealand XI by 26 runs where all-rounder Rishad hossain became the key player. Rishad blasted 11 fours and four sixes in his quick-fire knock that took Bangladesh‍‍`s total past the 300-run mark.  Bnagladesh manged to score 334 on the scoreboard.

Chasing 335, New Zealand XI were off to a difficult start as fast bowler Hasan Mahmud reduced the representative side to 32-2 in the sixth over. 

Right-arm seamer Tanzim Hasan Sakib bowled a fine opening spell where he dismissed Quinn Sunde and was quite economical as well.

Earlier at the Lincoln University ground, leg-spinning all-rounder Rishad Hossain smashed an entertaining 87 off 54 as Bangladesh posted 334-10 in their 50-over warm-up match.

In the top order, Tanzid Hasan (58 off 46) quickly reached a half-century. He added 101 for the second wicket with Soumya Sarkar (59 off 56) which was the innings‍‍` highest stand. Tanzid‍‍`s opening partner Anamul Haque scored 33 off 26 balls.
Back in action, Litton Das hit 55 off 63 balls while batting at number four.

Conversely,  Afif Hossain and Towhid Hridoy were unsuccessful with the bat.

Bangladesh successfully defended a 335-run target, bundling out the home side for 308 in 49.2 overs.

For NZ XI Sandeep Patel and captain Bharat Popli scored the most of the runs with respective hits of 92 and 89. Hasan Mahmum and Afif Hossain each took two wickets, whereas leg-spinner Rishad was the best bowler with a three-for.

Next up, Bangladesh will play three ODIs and three T20Is against the Black Caps . The first One-Day International (ODI) of the tour will take place in Dunedin on December 17.
