Mumbai Crime Branch to clone Shilpa Shetty's phone in link to husband’s porn case

Latest Indian media updates on Raj Kundra pornography case suggest that the business tycoon’s wife popular Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty will again be interrogated by the Crime Branch of the Mumbai Police.

According to a recent report on IndiaTV, the Crime Branch of the Mumbai Police will perform a cloning of Shilpa Shetty's smartphone and may even question her again on the case.

The Mumbai Police team, which is investigating the alleged porn racket, involving the businessman, recorded Shilpa's official statement regarding the case on Friday (July 23). 

In a statement to the Indian news agency ANI, police officials said that Shilpa claimed she was "unaware" of the exact nature of the content on the 'Hotshots' app- via which her husband, Raj Kundra, is accused of streaming pornographic content.

Mumbai police have arrested Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty’s husband, Raj Kundra, for allegedly producing and broadcasting pornographic films online on Monday (July 20).

The 45-year-old businessman, banned from cricket-related activities over match-fixing charges six years ago, was named as the “key conspirator” in the controversial case that has shaken the Indian social media.
