Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has named Dr. Shahid Hossain, Ferdous Ahmed Khan, and agriculturist Moshiur Rahman Humayun as contractual special assistants.
Ferdous and Moshiur will have the status of deputy secretary, but Shahid will have the rank and benefits of a full-fledged secretary.
In this regard, the Ministry of Public Administration released separate circulars today that will be in effect until the premier`s term ends or unless she wishes otherwise.
Previously, Ferdous and Humayun served as the prime minister`s special assistants.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina`s personal physician is Dr. ABM Abdullah, the winner of the Ekushey Padak, who was previously the chairman of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) department of medicine.
Another ministry circular said that he will have the status and rank of a full-fledged secretary.
