A writ petition was filed in High Court today challenging the validity of DU’s Bangla department notice to keep students faces, including their ears, uncovered during examinations and presentations.
Department students filed writ petition through lawyer Md Faizullah Faiz. They said the decision is contradictory to their religious belief.
Bangla department on December 11 issued a notice asking the students to keep their faces visible, including their ears during all exams and presentations.
The notice also mentioned if anyone violates the instruction the authority will take action against them.
