Pizza with Tomato Sauce Recipe
300g flour (white bread), ½ cup flour for dusting, 1 tsp yeast, 1 tbsp olive oil
For the tomato sauce
One tbsp olive oil, 2 garlic cloves (Chopped), 200ml (passata).
For the topping
8 mozzarella pearls, halved a small bunch of fresh basil.
First, take a bowl and put the flour, the yeast, and 1 tsp salt. Mix them well and prepare a soft and wet dough with 200ml warm water. Cover the bowl with a wet towel and keep it rest for an hour or as long as the dough has puffed up and become double in size. It would be better if you put the dough the whole night in the fridge.
Now prepare the tomato sauce with the given ingredients.
When your dough is ready, cut it into two balls. Prepare a large teardrop rolling each ball.
Bake the pizza in the prepared oven to 240C/ or gas 9. Just spread the sauce over the base, half the mozzarella, drizzle with olive oil, and season. Bake for 8-10 mins or as long as the pizza becomes crispy.
Cheese Pizza Recipe
For the scone base
250g flour, 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp baking powder, 50g butter, chopped, 2 eggs, 3 tbsp milk
For the cheesy topping
1 tbsp olive oil, 1 green pepper, (deseeded and thinly sliced), 5 spring onions, thinly sliced, 2 tbsp tomato ketchup, 2 tbsp tomato purée, about 6-8 tomatoes (halved), and 85g cheddar.
First, prepare the oven to 220C or the gas to 7. Now, take a mixing bowl and combine the flour, salt, and baking powder. Pat with the butter also. Take another bowl and incorporate together the eggs and milk.
Now mix together the dry ingredients with a mixture of eggs and milk and prepare a soft dough. Keep in rest for 1 to 2 hours. Divide the dough into 2 parts and give each dough a round shape about 24cm circle across to make the pizza base.
Now fry the spring onion and the pepper. Place the ketchup over the pizza base and then put the pepper and spring onion mixture. Followed by the tomatoes and the cheese. Bake for 15 mins to make it a golden brown color. Serve with a salad sauce.
Meat Pizza Recipe
1 ball pizza dough (homemade or store-bought), 1/2 cup pizza sauce, 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, 1 cup cooked and crumbled sausage, 24 pepperoni slices, 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes (Crushed).
First, prepare the oven to 500 F. Take a rolling pan and roll the pizza dough about a 12-inch round. After giving the pizza a round shape, transfer it to the baking sheet. Top with the pizza sauce across the dough. Then put 1 cup of mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Followed by the crumbled cooked sausage and the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
Now, layer on the slices of pepperoni and top with the grated Parmesan cheese. Bake for 13 to 14 minutes reducing the temperature to 475 F or until the dough is cooked through and the cheese fully melted. Garnish with crushed red pepper flakes and serve hot.
