During a press briefing on Sunday, RAB confirmed the arrest of Bom from Sharonpara of Sualak Union in Bandarban Sadar. The organization disclosed that Bom, a key figure within the KNF`s Central Committee, was captured while hiding in a concealed compartment within his residence. The operation, executed by a specialized RAB team, led to his arrest.
Army chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed, addressing reporters, highlighted the commencement of joint combing operations following multiple terrorist attacks in Thanchi and Ruma of Bandarban on the same day.
