A store in the Nazirabazar neighborhood of the capital caught fire next to Beauty Lassi around 12:30am on early Monday(January 1).
According to information, Shahjahan Sikder, deputy assistant director of media cell at the Fire Service and Civil Defence, reported that three fire engines arrived on the scene and put out the fire at 12:42am.
There were no casualty reported.
Eyewitnesses claimed that gas cylindar may explode that resulted in the fire. However, exact reason was yet to be determinded.
