Russia has carried out massive drone and missile attacks in Ukraine. The attack was carried out by Russia today, just before the anniversary of Russia`s victory over Nazi Germany. Reports, Reuters.
The mayor of Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, said that Russia carried out an attack with the help of an Iranian-made kamikaze drone today in the morning. In total, Russia has attacked with the help of at least 60 drones. Among them, 36 drones attacked different areas of Kyiv. The mayor claims that all of them have been demolished.
Meanwhile, Russian troops are fighting to win Bakhmut at any cost before the anniversary of World War II Victory Day. Taking control of Bakhmut is believed to be the biggest gift to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Victory Day.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said several people were injured in Russian missile and drone attacks. In addition, there has been extensive damage to various houses and institutions, including large buildings.
Missiles fired by Russia set fire to a food warehouse in the Black Sea city of Odessa, and explosions were also reported in several other regions of Ukraine. Witnesses told Reuters they heard multiple explosions around Kiev.
