Former US President Donald Trump has claimed that only he can prevent the third world war. Trump made such comments while giving a speech at a conference on Saturday local time.
Trump also said, "Not only World War III, but I can stop the war in Ukraine and Russia before I enter the Oval Office of the White House." I have an excellent relationship with Putin. I believe, he will listen to me and it will not take me more than a day to stop this war.
Earlier, Trump announced that he will compete in the 2024 US presidential election. But whether he will get approval from his party or not, it is not sure yet. Polls show many Republicans favor Florida Gov. Ron DeSandis over Trump. They believe that Ron DeSandis is more likely to win the White House as the next president.
The Republican nomination contest will be held tomorrow in the state of Iowa. Trump and DeSandies are expected to attend.
The three-day Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) was held in Washington. Saturday was the final day of this conference. Donald Trump gave a speech there. The conference was dominated by Trump supporters. But most Republican members of Congress and Republican governors were not seen there.
