6,396 die of Covid-19 globally in last 24 hours

Death and infection rate of coronavirus have been shrunk a bit across the world. However, the number of active patients has been icreased.

On Monday (July 12), the global fatalities surpassed 40 lakh 49 thousand. Number of infected people topped 18 core 76 lakh. There are 1 crore 60 lakh active Covid patients around the globe.  

Covid fatalities

According to Worldometer, some 40 lakh 49 thousand 71 people died of Covid-19 so far till 9am Monday (July 12). The figure was 40 lakh 42 thousand 675 on Sunday and 40 lakh 35 thousand 175 on Saturday. On Friday, the death toll stood at 40 lakh 26 thousand 186.

In line with this tally, 6 thousand 396 people died in last 24 hours. On Sunday (July 11), the casualties were 7 thousand 500, 8 thousand 989 on Saturday, 8 thousand 564 on Friday, 8 thousand 641 on Thursday. 8 thousand 416 people died on Wednesday, 7 thousand 246 on Tuesday, 5 thousand 997 on Monday and 7 thousand 421 on Sunday.

Coronavirus infection

Worldometer shows, Till Monday (July 12) 18 crore 76 lakh 32 thousand 756 people have been tested positive for the virus on so far. The figure was 18 crore 72 lakh 65 thousand 506 on Sunday, 18 crore 68 lakh 796 on Saturday.

The total number of infected people was 18 crore 63 lakh 30 thousand 636 on Friday, 18 crore 58 lakh 43 thousand 52 on Thursday, 18 crore 53 lakh 81 thousand 383 on Wednesday and 18 crore 49 lakh 28 thousand 530 on Tuesday.

In line with the account, some 3 lakh 67 thousand 250 people were identified in last 24 hours on Monday (July 12).  

Recovery

As many as 17 crore 15 lakh 84 thousand 218 people recovered from coronavirus infection as of Monday (July 12). On Sunday, the figure was 17 crore 12 lakh 37 thousand 477 while on Saturday it was 17 crore 8 lakh 85 thousand 708.

Some 3 lakh 46 thousand 741 people recovered from Covid-19 in last 24 hours.
