The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has released the results of the 43rd BCS written examination. 9 thousand 841 candidates have passed it.
The PSC chairman called an emergency meeting on Sunday. The results are announced at the end of the meeting. The result has been published on the PSC website. According to the notification, 9841 candidates have provisionally passed the written examination of the 43rd BCS examination-2020 following the Bangladesh Civil Service (Age, Qualification and Examination for Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2014.
Earlier, the 43rd BCS subject-wise written exam was held on last July 24. The exam lasted till 31st July. Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) declared a total of 15 thousand 229 candidates provisionally qualified to participate in this written examination.
The 43rd BCS preliminary exam was held on 29 October 2021. The results of the 43rd BCS prelims were declared on January 20, 2022. 15 thousand 229 candidates have passed it.
According to the notification of 43rd BCS- 1 thousand 814 officers will be taken in different cadres in this BCS. Among them, 300 people will be appointed in administration cadre, 100 in police cadre, 25 in foreign affairs cadre, 843 in education cadre, 35 in audit, 22 in information, 19 in tax, 14 in customs and 19 in cooperative.
