If in-person classes closed, announcement must be made: Dipu Moni

If the authorities take any decision to close educational institutions the government must make a declaration beforehand. Schools and colleges won’t be closed till any such situation arises.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said this while replying to queries of the reporters as she participated in the 9th convocation of Daffodil International University at Ashulia on Sunday.

Urging all not to pay heed to any rumour Dipu Moni said, “We want the regular curricular activities of the students must go on.”

“We are trying to devise how the educational institution could be keep opened bringing all in immunisation programme. But it is true that, if the situation worsens we may close the in-person classes,” added she.
