Cylinder explosion injures five in Malibagh

Five people have been burnt in a gas cylinder explosion at a warehouse in the capita's in Malibagh area.

All of them have been admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

The injured are: Md. Siddiqur Rahman Siddique (60), Md. Helal Uddin (50), Md. Nader Ali (50), Md. Nur Nabi (51) and Md. Yusuf Ali (49).

The blast took place in Dhamalibagh Chowdhury Para area of ​​Malibagh around 1:00 am on Wednesday. The burn victims were rescued and brought to the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery at around 2:30 pm.

Confirming the matter to the media, SHNBPSI resident surgeon SM Ayub Hossain said that the condition of four of the burn victims is critical.
